Text of Correction made in 3rd May 2010 issue of Pensions Week
"An article (PW, 19 April 2010) failed to make clear that the transfer of cash by the trustee of the Visteon UK pension plan to Ford and Visteon Engineering Services was to those companies' pension schemes in support of staff switching jobs between the firms. We wish to withdraw any suggestion of wrongdoing by the trustee. Chris Martin represents Independent Trustee Services Ltd, the current trustee chair. He is not a "former scheme trustee" as was suggested in a second article (PW, 26 April), and was not involved in the leaking of any confidential information. We apologise for any contrary, wrong impression caused".
