Our board currently has 8 Executive Directors, who are all permanent ITS employees. All, bar our dedicated Operations Director, lead trustee appointments on behalf of ITS.
Our Directors have very diverse backgrounds and experience. This works to the benefit of the pension schemes we represent when allied to our strong support structure and idea sharing culture.

Chris Martin, Managing Director
A founder Director of ITS, Chris has been MD since 1997. He is a well regarded industry figure who represents ITS on a number of high profile and complex appointments.

Hetal Kotecha, Director
Hetal has been a Director of ITS since 2005. He is an Associate of the Pensions Management Institute who specialises in special situations and PPF appointments.

Carol Perry, Director
Following a diverse career in the financial services industry, Carol joined ITS in 2006. She works mainly with ongoing DB and DC schemes, and is a Fellow of the Pensions Management Institute.

Peter Askins, Director
Peter joined ITS in 2008 after a long career at a senior level within the DWP. He is in demand as an industry commentator, and at ITS has developed a particular interest in the smaller schemes sector.

Martin Miles, Director
Martin is an actuary who joined ITS in 2009 from PwC. Although acting on a diverse portfolio, he works on many cases where the employer is distressed or undergoing significant corporate change.

Nita Tinn, Director
Nita, who is a lawyer by profession joined ITS in 2010, having previously held independent trustee appointments in her own right. DB governance and development of the DC market are areas of expertise.

Martine Trouard-Riolle, Director
Martine joined ITS in September 2011. She is a solicitor and insolvency practitioner by background who has held a senior appointment at the Pensions Regulator and undertaken independent trustee appointments in her own right.

Richard Boniface, Operations Director
Richard joined ITS in 2007 to manage the operational issues arising from an expanding company. He has held senior positions at Legal & General and Paymaster, and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.

While our Directors are our most high profile staff, they do not work in isolation. Our three support teams are led by Trust Officers Karen Collins, Helen Frisby and Sue Barber, while Terry Monk who retired from the Board in 2008 retains an important part time role as Business Development Executive.
